Van Mossel Automotive Group expands its presence in Southern England with the acquisition of two dealer groups

- Acquisition includes two dealer groups: Breeze Motor Group and Ocean Automotive
- In total: 9 dealership locations, 2 body repair centres and 1 parts distribution warehouse
- Both companies operate in the South Coast region, with locations in Portsmouth, Southampton, Bournemouth, Poole, Wimborne and Yeovil
Waalwijk, 20 November 2025 – Van Mossel Automotive Group has taken a strategic step in the United Kingdom with the acquisition of two dealer groups: Breeze Motor Group and Ocean Automotive. Both companies are based on the South Coast, with locations in Portsmouth, Southampton, Bournemouth, Poole, Wimborne and Yeovil. This expansion further strengthens Van Mossel’s position in the UK on the mainland. The acquisition includes nine dealership locations, two body repaircentres, and one parts distribution warehouse.
This move follows earlier acquisitions in the Channel Islands (Jersey and Guernsey), Isle of Man and Isle of Wight and enhances Van Mossel’s presence on the British mainland. The combined acquisition underlines the group’s continued European growth strategy.
Breeze Motor Group represents Volkswagen Passenger Cars and Commercial Vehicles, Suzuki and Ducati, and is an official distributor of Volkswagen parts through the Trade Parts Specialist network. Breeze has also built a successful camper and lifestyle van hire business operating under the name ‘Breeze Campers’. Breeze Motor Group operates six dealership locations and one parts warehouse. In 2024, the group generated a turnover of €176.25 million and employs more than 250 people.

Ocean Automotive represents the Audi and Volvo brands and operates three dealership locations and two body repair centres. In 2024, the group recorded a turnover of €203 million. Ocean Automotive is active in, among others, Yeovil and Poole.

Both Breeze Motor Group and Ocean Automotive will operate under the umbrella of Van Mossel Automotive International, the international division of Van Mossel Automotive Group, responsible for all activities outside the Benelux region.
